Influencer Marketing Manager

This role requires a passion for fun, creativity, and great branding. The manager works creatively while also being data driven, with a strong understand pop culture and influencer marketing. The marketer manages influencers both directly and through agencies.

This role leads a small cross-functional team of social media and design resources. The position is based in Sydney (currently work from home) but works with a larger dispersed team across Asia Pacific.

Job Description

Areas of Responsibility:

Marketing Campaigns:

  • Plan and lead the execution of all digital marketing, primarily using influencer marketing, but also social media, content and display advertising where appropriate.
  • Maintain effective, cohesive, and engaging brand messaging  
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies  

Partnerships:

  • Develop and implement marketing plans with distribution and app store partners.

Content Creation:

  • Oversee and ensure a consistent flow of visual content is created and distributed across appropriate channels.

Planning:

  • Create, maintain, and implement digital marketing calendars  
  • Keep abreast of new social media platforms and digital marketing trends; implement these new technologies in developing campaigns when suitable
  • Develop a website and app store traffic plan and create goals and benchmark targets  
  • Identify conversion points and optimise user funnels with experiments and conversion tests  

Reporting:

  • In conjunction with the Business Marketing Analyst, deliver regular reporting on campaign performance.
  • Identify conversion points and optimise user funnels with experiments and conversion tests  
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)  
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimise spend and performance based on the insights

Desired Experience and Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or related field  
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing, preferably in a start-up environment
  • Excellent grasp of social media and website metrics and best practices 
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing influencer, social media, and display advertising campaigns  
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate  
  • Experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels
  • Managing agency relationships
